It was cold, windy, misty and overcast on 13/03/2005, for reasons of safety, I hiked on two established Country Trails in Lantau Island. This famous Tin Hau Temple was made completely of stones and granites(including Tin Hau goddess herself) and was originally located at Chek Lap Kok. Because of the contruction of our new airport, the Temple was removed and relocated stone by stone to its new site near Chek Lap Kok Village at Tung Chung.

Lo Fu Wat bay was once a pearl cultivating farm and had been closed for years. Nowadays, there is a new farm operating there which interested parties could even visit there by arrangement.

Started walking along Bride's Pool Road from Tai Mei Tuk, the final treacherous section of the round trip could be seen, the lowly 125m Cheung Pai Tun hill.

These were another set of my hiking pictures of my round the reservoir trip on 20/02/2005. In the past this was regarded as one of the difficult trails, but in recent years, our governmental authorities responsible for conserving our countryside have been converting this trail (and many others) into unsightly concrete pavements and staircases and erecting directions and distance signposts in the name of "improvement".

Along Ping Fung Shan and Wong Leng ridges, clouds were coming in like waves from southern steep cliffs while the northern gentler slopes provided a comparatively clearer scenery.
